about

This being the longest track on the album, is perhaps the most detailed exploration of the largest tam tam at Anvil Creations Studio. Not only does each place targeted on the instrument's surface produce a unique sound, but changing the utensil with which the metal is struck also provides a variety of unusual aural disturbances. A warning to those who hate "fingernails on a chalkboard", some of the vibrations here are very loud and piercing to the sensitive ear. A common wood back-scratcher was implemented at this point, and is very effective at producing these [irritating] high frequencies. A cardboard tube is also very effective. No additional modification to the natural sound of this amazing instrument was used in the recording of this piece.
