Smaller singing bowls are sometime rung like bells when struck with a light or thin metal stick or "tool". Chestnut shells and ratchets are re-visited briefly to give way to the monster sub-audio frequencies of the over-sized tam tam by Zildjian. There is even a small shaker (in the form of an egg) that is heard, as well as a New Year's party instrument that moves from one side of the stereo field to the other. Metal lids and implements are picked up and dropped so that the sounds heard are varied and continuously changing. As always, headphones are recommended for optimal listening pleasure.
