about

Essentially, part two of Loubi Stem, this track is much longer and involves the deterioration of the tape-based mellotron into what is commonly known (or remembered) as an echo-plex, which also uses a quarter inch two minute segment of analog magnetic tape. With all this tape oriented sound being recorded onto an analog open reel deck, it is amazing that there is still some audio apart from the friction recording enthusiasts call "tape hiss". An aural trek, to be sure, and it is totally up to the listener to decide if this is a musical journey or if it is just an inferior recessive regression into the artist's defective past.
