about

Not counting the Demented Études, this would be the longest track on the album. Nothing other tan some electronic echo was added to this recording. The mood is decidedly reflective, and indeed it was performed at a crucial life-changing moment in Ken's personal situation. Listening closely, you can here the bird's singing from an open window in the background, that play counterpoint to often moody and dreary attitudes.

Several styles of playing were explored and rejected as the emotion displayed was conflicting and undecided. This was not a prepared composition, but rather a spontaneous performance of live attributes. The overall effect is calming and serene rather than depressing or sorrowful.
