A variety of cymbals have been used on similar tracks from volume one, and not much is changed for this session of Heavy Metal. The biggest cymbal was a 24" Paiste of the highly sought-after formula 602 (pre-serial number model) from the 1970s. Another large one is from Italy, a 21" UFiP that is rather heavy due to its thickness. There are Sabian, Zildjjian, Wuhan and other Paiste cymbals used here in a circular array. Several small "toy" cymbals were mounted with handles to be used as "tools" for rubbing other larger cymbals (and gongs). Mostly there are wood sticks being used to play these fine instruments.
