about

This is a composition that uses multi-track recording of small hand-held porcelain balls that have steel tines and a ball bearing inside each one, to create its own unique tinkling. Perhaps several dozen of these Chinese stress-relief balls were used, and other metallic percussion sounds added for atmospheric effect. Processed on the G4 computer.
