about

This is the second album by avant garde percussion/synthesizer group, Elastic Collision, which is the duo of Frank Ashley, Jr. and Ken Moore (of Moore/Myers). Their first album, Listening at the Speed of Sleep, was basically a live recording, whereas this release, sub-titled "inner being outer space", is more of a studio album using the live tracks recorded the same way as their first, but with overdubs by Ken Moore, who not only plays the percussion here, but adds bass guitar as well. Fans of Elastic Collision will find this a bit more disturbing than their first album, as darker corners of the universe are explored here, evidenced by their "song" titles.

about

Moore/Myers Ohio

Now, Ken has expanded his talents to include percussion and abstract recordings from the Gong Room. With the addition of Short Story, ACS is creating even better adventurous sounds, more than ever before. ... more
