about

These are digital copies of cassette recordings done in the mid-eighties. The Ken Moore Group was first coined by Alan Freeman who included two tracks on Auricle's cassette sampler, "Escape From The Cage". Wayne and Ken worked together for six years, first in Kameleon (who later changed their name to Runner when a vocalist was added) and three years as Moore/Myers. This is some of their third (unfinished) album to be titled "20/20".

Recently discovered, is "Vision", which was copied to a CD-R, but the tape was flawed somehow, and the music deteriorated after several minutes. Ken has worked to master the track so that the degradation isn't as bad as originally discovered. This song included the bassist, John, who joined them on the first album, "Reaching Beyond the Sphere". Any additional songs that were recorded to this album remain on multi-track open reel, with no way to play it. By now, the tapes probably should be baked in order to play without flaking.

Now, Ken has expanded his talents to include percussion and abstract recordings from the Gong Room. With the addition of Short Story, ACS is creating even better adventurous sounds, more than ever before. ... more
